Football Experience

  • 2004 – 2006 – Selected to play for Worthing Dynamos who were part of the Arun and Chichester Youth Football League.  The team were the under 11’s Division B winners, 2004 – 2005.  Due to lack of local financial support this team disbanded in late 2006
  • 2008 – 2010 – Selected to play for Worthing Town Youth FC.  I played consistently every week at both training and matches, only taking time out when I broke my arm whilst competing in a tournament with them.
  • I received Loyalty Awards in 2008- 2009 and 2009 – 2010
  • In 2010 I stopped playing for the team to enable me to concentrate on studying for my A Levels and purely played football on a social basis to keep fit.
  • In 2012 I completed my A Levels and applied to take part in the Arsenal Gap programme. Since joining Arsenal I have coached 2 days a week at Cardinal Pole Catholic School and Berger Primary School in Hackney teaching children with ages ranging from 6-14, whilst spending the rest of my time working with Arsenal developing myself and my coaching.  Other activities I have been involved in include assisting with social inclusion projects such as helping newly released offenders participate in football.  I have also worked in the Arsenal Soccer Schools during the school holidays and have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the programme and the skills and qualifications this course has given me.
