Female Development Tournament

The Barbados Secondary Schools’ Football League congratulates the 2015/2016 Girls’ Champion, The Lodge School.

Competition: Coca-Cola BSSFL Female Development Tournament | Season 2015/2016

  • games are of forty (40) minutes duration, two twenty (20) minute halves
  • matches will start at 3:30 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. promptly a grace period of 15 minutes will be allowed if the match coordinator is notified before the start of the game only for games scheduled to begin at 3:30p.m. if one team is not present for a 3:30 p.m. start, but both teams for the second game are present the second game will be played first
  • three (3) points for a win, one (1) point for a draw and zero (0) points for a lost
  • rolling substitutions will be permitted
  • all secondary school girls are eligible
  • all teams must be uniformly dressed (i.e. shirts, shorts and socks), as stipulated in Law 4 in the Laws of Association Football; shirts must carry separate and distinct numbers
  • Advancement: the top two teams from each zone will advance to a cup semi-final and the bottom two will advance to a plate semi-final the team with the lowest points tally in the zone with 5 teams will not advance.
  • Forfeitures: All Forfeited games must have the approval of The League, request must be sent to the League twenty-four (24) hours in advance outlining the reason for forfeiture; in the event of a forfeiture the opposing team will be awarded three (3) points and three (3) goals, teams who forfeit two or more matches in the competition may face disciplinary action
  • Ellerslie Secondary School will play its home games at the U.W.I. turf
